SUBJECT: SHEET METAL SCROLLS
ON SAW CYLINDERS.
Saw cylinders with sheet metal scrolls have always used metal screws to hold the
channel saws on.

The holes wallow out over time and it is always a problem trying to get a screw the
right size and then not over tighten the screw and strip the hole out.

Any screw that is in a hole that is a little loose will come out and the channel saw will
get into the gin stand and ruin a saw cylinder.

If you will use Steel Pop rivets you will no longer have these problems.

If you will use an air pop rivet gun your gin hands can re-saw a complete cylinder
before lunch, much faster and more secure than with screws.

The pop rivets fit oversize holes and will not let the channel saw come loose from the
cylinder and go into your gin stand and ruin a saw.
