Reverse Feedbar Lint Cleaner
Conversion
In a standard lint cleaner the cotton passes through a 1/16" space
between the feed bar and the lint cleaner saw. As you know any
small wad chokes the lint cleaner and these small wads sound like
sticks of dynamite going off in the lint cleaner. This cause sever jolts
to the roller shafts, sprockets, chains, saw teeth and everything else
in the lint cleaner which tears up your lint cleaner as well as
reducing its capacity.

By putting the feed bar on the other side of the feed roller the
cotton only goes under the feed roller. We fix the pivot point of the
feed roller so that it can raise out of the feed bar and up off the saw
about 3/4".

With the feed roller opening up so there is 3/4" for the cotton to go
through the lint cleaner capacity increases dramatically. You never
hear those sticks of dynamite going off in the lint cleaner any more.
The shafts, sprockets and chains stop breaking. The lint cleaner
stops choking.

A single saw 66" Moss Lint Cleaner with our reverse feed bar
arrangement will handle 30 plus bales per hour.

A single saw 86" Horn Lint Cleaner with our reverse feed bar
arrangement will handle 45 plus bales per hour.

Other lint cleaner brands capacity goes up accordingly and choke
ups disappear.

Ask any ginner that has our reverse feed bar arrangement how they
like it.
